Rental Rules & Terms

  • The Legacy Event space is located inside of a business center. An access code will be given to the primary booking contact the day of the event to access the event space.

  • Renters are not allowed to use tape, nails, screws, push pins, or any other objects to hang on any walls or mirrors in the Facility. 

  • Confetti is not allowed to be used in the facility including but not limited to confetti balloons, glitter, etc.

  • Smoking of any kind (hookah, cigarettes, cigars, etc.) is not permitted inside or directly in front of the Facility nor in front of any residence around the event space. 

  • Legacy Event Space restroom is equipped with electric hand-free hand dryers to prevent the use of paper towels and accidentally clogging up our toilet plumbing system. 

  • The event space does not include access to a kitchen. Cooking is not allowed on-site from deep fryers, portable ovens, or grilling (indoor or outside).

  • Renters should not use the bathroom sink to wash kitchenware (forks, knives, etc.) as this can cause the sink to be clogged, resulting in a “sink fee” being incurred by the renter.

  • For the peaceful enjoyment of our community neighbors and local business owners, an event continuing past 9 PM should not hand outside in front of the building or around local residents’ homes. This includes loud music from parked car radios, etc. 

  • Parents should monitor children from going outdoors alone or wandering the event space to keep them safe at all times. 

  • A Legacy Events staff member will be monitoring the use of music and noise levels after primetime hours on-site for the peaceful enjoyment of residents in the community. 

  • Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed to be consumed on-site. 

  • All decorations and equipment brought into the facility must be removed at the end of the facility rental period. 

  • The client understands that if damages occur during the rental, they are responsible for the repair expenses and their security deposit will be automatically forfeited. 

  • There is a rental overage fee of $150.00 per hour outside of the contract time frame. 

  • A $150 security deposit charged and will be returned within 24-48 hours of the conclusion of the event. 

  • The $150 security deposit will be returned in the same method it was paid by the event space renter.  

  • The venue must be left in the same condition as it was received. Chairs stacked up against the brick wall. Floors swept and cleared of any food or trash. There is a dumpster outside in the parking lot for trash removal. Tables must be cleared, but left standing for professional cleaning.

Reserve a Date to Book an Event

A $400 non-refundable deposit is required for standard space rentals. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book any all-inclusive decor packages. All deposits are non-refundable. If needed, deposits can be used towards any additional dates scheduled at your convenience. The remaining balance is due 10 days before the scheduled event. A $150 security deposit will be invoiced separately and will be returned 24 hours after your event is completed.

Legacy Events Venue is Philadelphia’s newest event space location, founded by brother and sister duo Doug and Nakea Mathis in 2020. Legacy Event Space Venue is available for a wide range of events.  We are located in the northern section of Philadelphia close to public transportation and the area expressway. The mission of Legacy Events Center is to provide a high-quality event space experience at an affordable rate for the clients and their guest that walks through our doors. Here at Legacy Events, we create an experience beyond just renting our facilities.
